UPDATE!!!  10/18/2002:  Wel, i added a new section about the recent hell we have had concerning a certaint body and my brother's trucks.  We took it to Deskin's Motors for some body work they fudged up to begin with, and ended up with more damage then when we got there!!!  Also, got the 750 CFM carb onthe S-10, seems good, but the timing chain is TOAST and the timing is just completely out of whack.  Stay tuned!!!

Update 10/3/2002:  Well, I am finally getting a good carb for truck.  It is a Holley 750 douple pumper from a guy who works with my brother.  It is basically new and on his project Camaro and never been more than cranked.  i also have had the plugs changed and new brake pads/shoes all around.  I have added a couple pics of my bro's R/T fresh out of the paintshop.  I also added the old carb to the for sale section along with a couple other things.  Right now money and time are both tight, but i am slowly getting what needs to be done, done.  Next couple things I plan on are a new timing gear assembly, tires (Uniroyal Tiger paws SUCK), a grant steering wheel (stocker is akin to that in a Mack truck), and a fresh allighnment.  the fun stuff will come during tax return time :)  Stay tuned!!

UPDATE!  Back in April I actually sold this truck.  In May i bought 1996 Buick Roadmaster with an LT1 and all the options.  Unfortunatly because of unforseen circumstances, I had to sell it.  ast week I bought another V8 S-10, this one one 87 Extended Cab, again with a 355 V8, but with a 4 speed 700R4 instead of a 3 speed TH400.  It definatly needs work, but it will get there.  I'll go ahead and throw in a few pitures for you enjoyment for now.

I bought the 84 truck june 2001 with the conversion already done.  it was not perfect though.  I was not real happy with the Edelbrock carb or oversized full length headers that really restricted the turning radius because they passed through behind the wheels.  The tires were also some off brand trash and that which got pointed out to me when I got caught in a rainstorm on the way home.  See the pic above for how the motor looked the day I brought her home.

Here is my 87, It's exterior is adorned with American racing rims and a soft tonneau cover.  The interior has Syclone seats, CD, power windows and a Camaro Center Console, lighted entry and all the guages are correctly calibrated for the V8.
